Her books feature best friends Kitty Cooper and Lydia Tench who spend their days negotiating their way through the highs and lows of life as a teenager, often with unexpected consequences.

Before becoming a writer, Lucinda studied law and worked as a solicitor for many years until she left the profession in order to bring up her four children. She then returned to university and gained a degree in English Literature with First Class Honours.

She lives on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales in England with her family.
